Your wedding is a celebration of love and commitment to each other. My commitment to you is to deliver a ceremony that is presented in a professional and friendly manner that reflects your beliefs, personalities and love for each other.
A civil ceremony will take only about 20 to 30 minutes to complete, but it will probably be the most important few minutes of your lives. So, it is important to get it right. I am totally committed to sharing your Wedding Day with you and offering a professional service of which you will have memories that will last a lifetime.
I have always enjoyed working with couples whether as civil celebrant in helping couples develop the wedding ceremony that they want or in my work as a relationship counsellor. As a psychologist for many years, I have been curious to explore how couples make their relationships work and how they make them last. This experience has reinforced for me the importance of commitment in deepening and enriching relationships.
I am originally from Canada, with an Estonian ethnic background. I migrated to Australia to marry a wonderful Aussie bloke. My other interests include competitive tennis, and bridge. As a member of Wildcare Inc I help rehabilitate injured and orphaned native animals. To read more on my work with Wildcare click here
My services include:
- An initial no obligation meeting at my office or your home where you will have the opportunity of fully discussing your preferences for your ceremony
- On making the booking you will be given an information folder which will include samples of wedding vows, lots of ideas for rituals eg unity candles and samples of readings and poems
- Drawing up and lodgement of all legal documents
- Unlimited consultations both by telephone, personally and email
- You can decide if you want to write some of your ceremony, or use traditional words, symbols or a combination. I will assist you in any way in making your ceremony the one you want. You have full editorial control over the ceremony content. For an example of the basic elements of a wedding ceremony click here
